John P. Schmidt
Soil Scientist & Adjunct Associate Professor
Responsibilities and Interests:
Conceive, develop, and implement N management research to sustain agricultural ecosystems and protect water quality. Couple N management to hydrology and P management, focusing on defining critical source areas and flow pathways at the landscape and watershed scales. Advisor to students, state and federal government agencies, and other organizations on N management and related water quality issues.
