Responsibilities and Interests:

My primary responsibilities include assisting the Agronomy Extension Specialists (namely, Dr. Curran and Dr. Beegle) with their Extension activities. I am responsible for writing fact sheets and newsletter articles, developing presentations, CDs, and other materials for Extension purposes, assisting with the writing and preparation of The Penn State Agronomy Guide, presenting materials at county Extension meetings and field days, and generally contributing to other Extension and research needs. Also, I am involved with coordinating our annual Penn State Field Diagnostic Clinic and coaching our Penn State Collegiate Weed Science Team.

I am primarily interested in aspects associated with weed management in corn, soybean and forages, as well as other agronomic production principles, such as soil fertility, crop rotation, and tillage.
