Russell E. Larson Agricultural Research Center

Agronomy Research Plots

The Russell E. Larson Agricultural Research Center is located ten miles southwest of the University Park campus. This facility provides research plots for a variety of departments in The College of Agricultural Sciences.

Agronomy Research Farm

The Agronomy Research Farm includes 340 acres, 190 acres of which are suitable for small plot research. Buildings on the farm include a crop-drying shed, service and storage buildings, and a cereal research facility. Most professors and graduate students in the Department of Crop and Soil Sciences conduct their field experiments at this research farm, especially work in soil fetility and chemistry, grain crop and legume management, and plant breeding.
