Course Description
Individual studies in specialized topics in the science of crop production are assigned in this course. Studies can include field, laboratory, greenhouse and research problems or a library literature review on a special topic. Students are permitted to elect the Crop and Soil Sciences staff member in whose area he desires to investigate provided he gets the staff member's prior approval and that of the faculty coordinator listed for this course. Written reports are due on all research problems and the equivalent of a term paper on a library topic. The equivalent of 40 to 50 hours of work study time per semester or summer session is required to earn one credit. No more than 3 credits per semester or summer session can be scheduled in this course.
