Course Description

Given the concern about global climate change, we think it is timely to study how plants respond to both abiotic and biotic environmental stresses. Topics that will be discussed include plant responses to heat and drought stress, herbivory and pathogen attack. We will also include information about combinations of stresses. Lectures will be based on papers from the current literature, but background information about each type of stress will be presented.
